Ways And Means
Chairman - Eddie Basnett-Briscoe
Objectives for the year:
We will be going ahead with all the usual events that have been planned from previous years, and the logistics have been well tried and tested, such as:
- The Burger Stand at the Festival in the Park.
- The Brass band Concert
- Catering at the Helsby Half Marathon
- Car Boot Sale
- Sportsman's Dinner
- Classic Car Show
The Sportman's Dinner has been changed to a Friday evening, in the hope that it will attract more corporate tables.
Throughout the year, the committee have agreed to meet on a regular basis to improve planing, work to budgets and forecasts and discuss other possible events such as a Fashion Show.
Whilst our job is to raise funds for the club/charity, there will be an emphasis on making the Rotary Club and the 'Objects of Rotary' better known. This will raise our profile and may encourage new members.
The events will have to be meticulously planned, but with and enjoyable and enthusiastic approach.
